A free, accredited e-learning course Harnessing the Power of the Arts for End-of-Life Care on the myCME platform. Using compelling videos, intimate personal stories, and moving imagery, the course, relevant to healthcare professionals, hospice workers, and caregivers offers guidance and inspiration for using the Arts as a tool for supporting patients’ beliefs, traditions, and customs in innovative and meaningful ways. The course features artists, folklorists, tradition bearers, storytellers, and two National Heritage Award winners. It takes about an hour and a half to complete, and offers the learner 1.75 continuing education credits. Supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
