My Inspiration

My training in Traditional Chinese Medicine taught me something Western frameworks had never given me language for: emotional stagnation lives in the body. It isn't a metaphor. It has a location. Years later, working at bedsides alongside clinicians and patients, I saw the other half of it: that a whole-person experience like grief cannot be met with thinking paradigms alone. And while talking and processing can help, you cannot think your way through what their body is also holding.
